National Historical Museum: Printing on luxury paper packaging bags

The National Historical Museum is permanently housed in the Old Parliament Building at Stadiou Street (Kolokotronis square) since 1962.
It was founded in 1884 by the Historical and Ethnological Society of Greece, which since its creation in 1882 has been collecting historical items.
The Museum narrates the history of Modern Greece: the period of Ottoman and Latin rule, the Greek War of Independence (1821), the liberation struggles, the creation of an independent state, the political, social and spiritual development of the Greeks up to the present day.
Its purpose is the collection and rescue of material and objects that illuminate the history of Hellenism in modern times.
The e-shop of the National Historical Museum transports online the physical store that has been operating in the Museum since the late 1990s, seeking to make its contents accessible to the general public.
All the objects in the Shop are either copies of original relics of the museum or inspired by them, as its main purpose is to acquaint the public with modern Greek history and folklore.
In this context, the Museum Shop has a rich collection of jewelry, accessories, home and office decor, medals, souvenirs, handmade lead toy soldiers, toys and school supplies.
In addition, the collection includes posters of heroes of the Greek War of Independence, popular prints published on the occasion of important historical events (e.g., the Balkan Wars), cards and prints of paintings on canvas.
Furthermore, during the Christmas and Easter holiday periods, the Museum Shop presents limited edition seasonal gifts, such as new-year-charms, decorations, Easter candles with special symbolism (protection, well-being, good luck, prosperity, etc.).
The above souvenirs are offered in printed NewMan custom-made gift bags.
The bags are made of dark blue paper from the Pantone color palette and have glossy lamination and gold hot-foil logo printing.
Two dimensions were chosen, 12.5×23.5×6 cm and 39x40x9 cm.
The handles of the bags are made of cotton cord in the same dark blue color.
